WicksBlue Dolphin Lift Station <br />P&S and Call for Bids 2 January 19, 2010 <br />eliminating the need for double handling the sewage. The Blue Dolphin Lift Station will replace the <br />two existing pumps with a package pump system. <br />Current City Council Policx <br />Ensure well-maintained sewer facilities. <br />Previous City Council Action(s) <br />On May 4, 2009, by Resolution No. 2009-060, the City Council approved a consulting services <br />agreement with Freyer and Laureta, Inc. for the design of this project. <br />Applicable General Plan Policy <br />Policy 52.05: Maintain adequate capacity at the San Leandro wastewater treatment plant to <br />accommodate projected levels of growth within the service area and encourage the Oro Loma <br />Sanitary District to do the same. <br />Permits and/or Variances Granted <br />The building permits for this project, BLD2009-01608 and BLD2009-01605 have been obtained. <br />Environmental Review <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption has been filed with Alameda County, <br />in pursuant to Section 15301 "Existing Facilities". <br />Fiscal Impact <br />The estimated construction cost of this project is $782,000.
