He attended the census meeting and the Chamber of
Commerce Government Affairs Committee meeting. Councihnember Prola heard staff report
that the plans for the Marina development have been narrowed down to one, and he requested
that the plan be sent to all members of the Council. He hoped that the Coffee with the Mayor
meetings continue, as they provide a forum for residents to express their concerns.
Councilmember Prola commented that he attended the Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration at
the ILWU Hall in Hayward, since San Leandro did not have one.
Mayor Santos expressed disappointment that the City did not have a Martin Luther King, Jr.
celebration.
