IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2010-010 (2318) <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 15.1.100 AND 21.1.100 OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ADMINISTRATIVE CODE TO AMEND THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE OF THE <br />BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City of San Leandro Administrative Code Section 15.1.100, the <br />Board of Zoning Adjustments holds regular meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each <br />month, convening at 7:00 p.m.; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City of San Leandro Administrative Code Section 21.1.100, the <br />Planning Commission holds regular meetings on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, <br />convening at 7:00 p.m.; and <br />WHEREAS,. the City Council wishes to amend San Leandro Administrative Code <br />Sections 15.1.100 and 21.1.100 to reduce the number of regular meetings held by the Board of <br />Zoning Adjustments ("BZA") and the Planning Commission, respectively from twice a month to <br />once a month, such that the BZA holds its regular meetings on the first Thursday of each month <br />and the Planning Commission holds its regular meetings on the third Thursday of each month, <br />with each meeting convening at 7:00 p.m. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San <br />Leandro hereby: <br />1. Approves a reduction in the number of regular meetings of the Board of Zoning <br />Adjustments and the Planning Commission from twice a month to once a month, such that the <br />BZA shall meet on the first Thursday of each month and the Planning Commission shall meet on <br />the third Thursday of each month as reflected in the text amendments to Sections 15.1.100 and <br />21.1.100 of the Administrative Code, attached as Exhibit A. <br />2. Declares that the aforementioned amendments to the BZA and Planning Commission's <br />regular meeting schedules shall be effective February, 2010. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Reed and passed and adopted by the City Council of the <br />City of San Leandro at a regular meeting duly held on the 1st day of February, 2010, by the <br />following called vote: <br />
