Facilities Committee Meeting Minutes <br />Page 6 <br />March 9, 2010 <br />between 138th and 148th Avenues and whether it will be done before or after August. Ken <br />added that we are now going through the process for securing grant funding. Restriping <br />of the bike lane will happen at the same time. <br />Councilmember Gregory asked about bicycle racks for the downtown area. Keith will <br />address bike racks at the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee for discussion. The <br />Master Plan that Keith is working on will identify Measure B funds as the source for <br />funding bicycle racks. Councilmember Gregory wants to see bicycle racks installed in <br />time for the Bike to Work event to promote the downtown areas and the Farmer's Market <br />opening in May, and asked for a deadline of May 2, 2010. <br />6. Adjourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 5:28 p.m. <br />
