IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010-036 (3177) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO CON-QUEST <br />CONTRACTORS, INC., FOR THE WICKS LIFT STATION AND BLUE DOLPHIN LIFT <br />STATION REHABILITATION PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 08-593-52-243 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on March 10, 2010, publicly open, examine and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2010-005 of the Council <br />of said City adopted on January 19, 2010, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br />description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: Con-Quest Contractors, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office <br />of the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 5th day of April, <br />2010, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Santos (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Gregory (1) <br />ATTEST: ~ B CG1/I G~~~~ <br />1~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
