IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010-067 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A LAND LEASE <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE OPTIMIST CLUB OF SAN LEANDRO OVER A PORTION OF <br />LAND LOCATED AT APN 077A-0649-009 AND APN 077A-0649-010 <br />Recitals <br />A land lease agreement between the City of San Leandro and the Optimist Club of San <br />Leandro has been presented to this Council. <br />WHEREAS, the Optimist Club of San Leandro has a 20-year land lease on the site that <br />will expire on April 30, 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, the Optimist Club of San Leandro requested that the City enter into a new <br />land lease to commence upon expiration of the current lease on May 1, 2012 to assist it with <br />obtaining financing for improvements to its facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br />The City Manager has recommended the approval of said lease agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said lease is hereby approved and the City Manager or his designee is hereby <br />authorized to execute said lease. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Reed and passed and adopted this 7th day of June, 2010, <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: ~;' U'~,~''l~ C~C~ti2~~-~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
