IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010-081 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK OF THE I-880/WASHINGTON AVENUE <br />INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, ACTIA PROJECT NO. 11, PROJECT NO. <br />08-144-39-007, AND THE WASHINGTON AVENUE OVERLAY PROJECT, PROJECT NO. <br />08-150-38-274, FEDERAL AID PROJECT STPL-5041(028) <br />Pursuant to a contract between the City and Bay Cities Paving and Grading dated <br />February 2, 2009 the I-880/Washington Avenue Interchange Improvements project, ACTIA <br />Project No. 11, Project No. 08-144-39-007, and the Washington Avenue Overlay project, Project <br />No. 08-150-38-274, Federal Aid Project STPL-5041(028) have been completed. <br />Said work has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore <br />and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, and he therefore <br />recommends that said work be accepted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. That the work hereinbefore described is hereby accepted. <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion on said <br />project. <br />3. That the bonds heretofore given for performance and payment of said conditions <br />are hereby discharged and exonerated from further liability. <br />4. That upon completion of the one-year Maintenance Period established pursuant <br />to said contract, and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation <br />Director, the City Manager is hereby authorized to release the bond heretofore <br />given for maintenance of the work hereinbefore described. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 21st day of June, <br />2010, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: ~~ ~U~1~~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
