POTENTIALLY
ISSUES POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT LESS THAN NO
SIGNIFICANT UNLESS SIGNIFICANT INH'ACT SOURCES
ISSUES MITIGATION IMPACT
INCORPORATED
c. Directly or indirectly destroy a unique X 2
paleontological resource or site or unique
eolo 'c feature?
d. Disturb any human remains, including those X 2
interred outside of formal cemeteries?
EXPLANATION: There are no known cultural resources sites within the project area. The project area exists as a mostly developed
urban environment. The proposed project includes streetscape and design elements that will enhance the commercial and business
environment; calm traffic and enhance pedestrian movement; and create an attractive city gateway along a specific portion of
MacArthur Boulevard. No impacts to cultural resources are anticipated.
__
16. AGRICULTURE RESOURCES. Would the ro ect:
a. Convert Prime Farmland, Unique Farmland, or X 2
Farmland of Statewide Importance (Farmland),
as shown on the maps prepared pursuant to the
Farmland Mapping and Monitoring Program of
the California Resources Agency, to non-
a icultural use?
b. Conflict with existing zoning for agricultural X 2
use, or a Williamson Act contract?
c. Involve other changes in the existing X 2
environment which, due to their location or
nature, could result in conversion of Farmland,
to non-agricultural use?
EXPLANATION: The project site can be described as an urban environment, with no agricultural resources or uses currently
existing. Therefore, implementation of the Streetscape Master Plan is anticipated to have no impacts on agricultural resources.
17.'-=1yIANDATOI~YFINDINGS OF SGNI~'ICANCE.
a. Does the project have impacts that are X 2
individually limited, but cumulatively
considerable? ("Cumulatively considerable"
means the incremental effects of a project that
are considerable when viewed in connection
with the effects of the past projects, the effects
of other current projects, and the effects of
probable future ro'ects.)
c. Does the project have environmental effects X 2
which will cause substantial adverse effects on
human beings, either directl or indirectly?
MacArthur Boulevard Streetscape Master Plan - IS/ND 11 December/2000
