The proposed project includes streetscape and <br />design elements that will enhance the commercial and business environment; calm traffic and enhance pedestrian movement; and <br />create an attractive city gateway along a specific portion of MacArthur Boulevard. Therefore, area aesthetics would be improved <br />with implementation of the streetscape Master Plan. New street lighting is proposed in order to provide a safe pedestrian <br />environment. Standard conditions for street lighting that limit the amount of light spilling onto adjacent properties will be included. <br />Impacts related to new lighting are anticipated to be less than significant. <br />15.
