Consolidated Plan Annual Performance Report - FY 2000-2001 <br />City of San Leandro <br />Page 15 <br />SUPPORTIVE HOUSING NEEDS <br />Priority: Increase the availability of service-enriched housing for persons <br />with special needs. <br />Resources Used: <br />The City applied CDBG Redevelopment Housing Set-Aside funds and HUD Section 811 <br />to further this priority. <br />Activities Undertaken: <br />Assistance to Non-Profit for Development of Special Needs Housing <br />~ The City assisted Eden Housing, Inc., with the acquisition of a property for the <br />construction of 16 units of affordable housing for developmentally disabled adults. <br />Eden Housing, Inc., received approval of a HUD Section 811 loan in the amount of <br />$1,594,000.00. The planned development is adjacent to the Fuller Lodge apartments <br />on Bancroft Avenue, which houses 26 development disabled households.
