Activities Undertaken: Projects included construction, rehabilitation and accessibility improvements of public facilities and neighborhood facilities occupied bynon-profit organizations serving low- and moderate-income persons and persons with disabilities. The City funded accessibility improvements to two public facilities: wheel access ramps at six intersections and construction of ADA accessible restrooms at Chabot Park. The project is going out to bid the end of August and is expected to be under construction in October of 2001. 0 The City funded facility improvements for three non-profit agency facilities shown below. The fourth project shown (Stepping Stones) was carried over from FY1999 and will carry into FY2001. Stepping Stones requested a second allocation of funds from FY2001, for a combined CDBG grant of $65,000. The project is scheduled to begin construction September 2001.
