Davis Street Remediation, <br />P&S and Call for Bids 2 July 19, 2010 <br />Rehabilitation Project. The remainder of the soil was found to have elevated concentrations of <br />lead, motor oil, and diesel that will require its disposal at a certified landfill facility. Debris <br />including wood, concrete, asphalt and other materials will be segregated from the soil materials <br />and recycled. <br />Previous City Council Action(s) <br />• On September 5, 2006, by Resolution No. 2006-106, the City Council authorized the City <br />Manager to execute a real property agreement for the property required for the Water <br />Pollution Control Plant Rehabilitation Project <br />• On December 4, 2006, by Resolution No. 2006-132, the City Council passed a Resolution of <br />Necessity and directed a Filing of Eminent Domain for the property required for the Water <br />Pollution Control Plant Rehabilitation Project <br />Applicable General Plan Policy <br />Policy No. 52.05 -Maintain adequate capacity at the San Leandro wastewater treatment plant to <br />accommodate projected levels of growth within the service area. <br />Environmental Review <br />The Project is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to section 15304 (a) and (f) "Minor <br />Alterations of Land". <br />Fiscal Impact <br />The estimated construction cost of this project is $1,808,700. <br />Bud;aet Authority <br />Funds in the amount of $365,130.09 are on deposit with the City for dirt disposal and <br />contamination remediation.
