third degree to the Mayor or any one or more of the members of the City Council, City Manager, or the <br />department head to which these services are to be provided. <br />D. Recipient shall incorporate, or cause to be incorporated, in all subcontracts for work to be <br />performed under this Agreement a provision prohibiting such interest pursuant to the purposes of this <br />section. <br />5. POLITICAL ACTIVITY PROHIBITED. None of the funds, materials, property or services <br />contributed by the City or Recipient under this Agreement shall be used for any partisan political activity, or <br />to further the election or defeat of any candidate for public office. <br />6. LOBBYING. To the best of Recipient's knowledge and belief: <br />A. No Federal appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid, by or on behalf of it, to any <br />person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a Member of <br />Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in connection <br />with the awarding of any Federal grant, the making of any Federal loan, the entering into of any <br />cooperative agreement, and the extension, continuation, renewal, amendment, or modification of any <br />Federal contract, grant, loan or cooperative agreement; <br />B. If any funds other than Federal appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid to any <br />person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a Member of <br />Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in connection <br />with this Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement, Recipient will complete and submit <br />Standard Form LLL, "Disclosure Form to Report Lobbying," in accordance with its instructions; and <br />C. Recipient will require that the language of paragraph 6(B) of this certification be included <br />in the award documents for all sub-awards at all tiers (including subcontracts, subgrants, and contracts <br />under grants, loans, and cooperative agreements) and that all recipients shall certify and disclose <br />accordingly. <br />7. RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY PROHIBITED. There shall be no religious worship, instruction <br />proselytization as part of, or in connection with the performance of this Agreement. <br />8. EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY. <br />A. Affirmative Action in Employment <br />1. Recipient shall comply with the Affirmative Action Program and Equal Employment <br />requirements of the City, State and Federal Government. <br />2.
