or complete removal of the sign and repair of the building where sign was attached. Said <br />sign program shall also include any proposed window signage. <br />B. Revised plans shall be submitted showing any existing landscaped areas, including planter <br />boxes and parking lot trees, in a landscape plan/revised site plan. Landscape plans shall <br />include drought-tolerant plants and/or plants that meet the criteria of the Bay Friendly <br />Landscape program. <br />IV. MAINTENANCE <br />A. The site shall be well maintained and shall be kept free of litter, debris and weeds. The <br />restaurant operators shall be responsible for trash pickup within a minimum of one thousand <br />(1,000) feet from the restaurant site. Once a day, any litter attributable to this restaurant <br />shall be picked up from East 14th Street within 1,000 feet of the restaurant. <br />B. Identifiable containers and napkins shall be used for all carryout food, and all litter resulting <br />shall be promptly removed. If the Zoning Enforcement Official determines that a litter <br />problem exists, the operator maybe required to retain a contract litter cleanup service or take <br />other litter clean-up measures. <br />C. The signage shall be kept in a good, clean, sound condition at all times; any damage to the <br />signs shall be promptly repaired. <br />D. Any graffiti shall be removed from the building walls and the perimeter fencing. <br />E. No window signs shall be displayed on the building. <br />V. FENCING AND SCREENING REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Dumpsters shall remain inside the trash enclosure at all times with the exception of <br />emptying by the disposal company. <br />B. Gates to the refuse area shall be closed except when necessary to move out the dumpster or <br />deposit trash from garbage receptacles. <br />C. A minimum of two (2) garbage receptacles shall be placed at each entrance to the <br />restaurant and at the customer parking areas on the site. The location and details of the <br />garbage receptacles shall be submitted to the Community Development Director for review <br />and approval. <br />D. No barbed wire or ribbon wire shall be installed on any wall, fence or building on the <br />property. <br />VI. CONSTRUCTION PROVISIONS <br />A. Construction activity shall not commence prior to 7:00 a.m. and shall cease by 7:00 p.m. <br />Monday through Friday, and construction activity shall not commence prior to 8:00 a.m. <br />and shall cease by 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and Saturday.
