Mayor Corbett said the City Council is very concerned about <br /> panhandling, and the City Attorney has been asked to look into changes <br /> in case law and how San Leandro's law can be strengthened. <br /> Mayor Corbett said she attended the meeting of the Steering Committee <br /> of the Public Safety and Crime Committee of the National League of <br /> Cities. She said FEMA specifically recognized San Leandro's programs <br /> as some of the best, ahead of everyone else. She thanked the community <br /> for their support of the programs. <br /> 10.
