Matter of Heron Bay (Roberts Landing) Maintenance Assessment District <br /> No. 96 -3. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br /> matter, the Hearing was opened to the public. <br /> John Hughes, Citation Homes, said he was available for questions. <br /> Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, asked why this was on the Agenda <br /> again when there was recently a hearing. Staff explained two hearings <br /> are required by law. <br /> There being no further comments from the public, on motion of Council <br /> Member Galvan, seconded by Council Member Young, with Council Member <br /> Loeffler absent (1), and carried by a majority vote (6), the Public <br /> Hearing was closed. <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> Resolution No. 96 -118, Resolution Approving and Confirming Report, <br /> Levying Assessments and Ordering Improvements for Heron Bay Maintenance <br /> Assessment District No. 96 -3 (provides for the formation of the <br /> Assessment District and the levying of annual assessments). (2811) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Glaze, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Council Member Polvorosa, with Council Member Loeffler absent (1), and <br /> carried by a majority vote (6). <br /> C. Matter of an Interim Ordinance Related to Adult Entertainment <br /> Establishments. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br /> matter, the Hearing was opened to the public. <br /> There being no comments from the public, on motion of Council Member <br /> Polvorosa, seconded by Council Member Galvan, with Council Member <br /> Loeffler absent (1), and carried by a majority vote (6), the Public <br /> Hearing was closed. <br /> The following Ordinance was then introduced: <br /> Ordinance No. 96 -08, An Interim Ordinance Prohibiting the Processing <br /> and Approval of Use Permits, Variances, Building Permits, or Other <br /> Zoning Entitlements for Adult Entertainment Establishments Which May <br /> Conflict with Proposed Zoning Ordinances and Zoning Map Amendments, and <br /> Declaring This Ordinance to Be an Urgency Measure Necessary for the <br /> Preservation of the Public Peace, Health, and Safety (extends the <br /> Interim Ordinance to prohibit the processing of various zoning <br /> entitlements for adult entertainment establishments). (1024/1099) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved that it be passed to <br /> print and adopted, seconded by Council Member Glaze, with Council <br /> Member Loeffler absent (1), and carried by a majority vote (6). <br />
