This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, the Hearing was opened to the public. John Hughes, Citation Homes, said he was available for questions. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, asked why this was on the Agenda again when there was recently a hearing. Staff explained two hearings are required by law. There being no further comments from the public, on motion of Council Member Galvan, seconded by Council Member Young, with Council Member Loeffler absent (1), and carried by a majority vote (6), the Public Hearing was closed. The following Resolution was then introduced: Resolution No. 96 -118, Resolution Approving and Confirming Report, Levying Assessments and Ordering Improvements for Heron Bay Maintenance Assessment District No. 96 -3 (provides for the formation of the Assessment District and the levying of annual assessments). (2811) Introduced by Council Member Glaze, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, with Council Member Loeffler absent (1), and carried by a majority vote (6). C. Matter of an Interim Ordinance Related to Adult Entertainment Establishments. This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, the Hearing was opened to the public. There being no comments from the public, on motion of Council Member Polvorosa, seconded by Council Member Galvan, with Council Member Loeffler absent (1), and carried by a majority vote (6), the Public Hearing was closed. The following Ordinance was then introduced: Ordinance No. 96 -08, An Interim Ordinance Prohibiting the Processing and Approval of Use Permits, Variances, Building Permits, or Other Zoning Entitlements for Adult Entertainment Establishments Which May Conflict with Proposed Zoning Ordinances and Zoning Map Amendments, and Declaring This Ordinance to Be an Urgency Measure Necessary for the Preservation of the Public Peace, Health, and Safety (extends the Interim Ordinance to prohibit the processing of various zoning entitlements for adult entertainment establishments). (1024/1099) Introduced by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved that it be passed to print and adopted, seconded by Council Member Glaze, with Council Member Loeffler absent (1), and carried by a majority vote (6).
