• Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and Page - 19 -
Redevelopment Agency Meeting - August 5, 1996
Council for the Prevention of Drinking and Driving (2528)
Representative: Polvorosa
East Bay Conversion and Reinvestment Commission
Representative: Corbett
Alternates: Loeffler and Young
East Bay Dischargers Authority (1221)
Representative: Galvan
Alternate: Corbett
League of California Cities, East Bay Division, Board of Directors
(1919)
Representative: Loeffler
Alternate: Lothrop
M /S /C Polvorosa and Galvan. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0
6.20 Matter of Appointments of City Council Members to City Council
Subcommittees. (1156)
See Item 6.19, Minute Order No. 96 -29
7. OPEN FORUM
Open Forum is limited to 3 minutes maximum per speaker, 15 minutes total.
7.1 Lou Filipovich, 15346 Lavern Drive, said it is an honor for me to be
the first person to open this part of the Agenda. It should be the
closing comments instead of Open Forum. There are serious things I
want to call to your attention. What I want to call to your
attention is what you just went through here. The Leadership Program
is not a good enough program. I would suggest you really check out
Hayward's program and you will immediately see a difference. On the
list the Mayor just read, how would you determine your place on that
list if the City Charter states you partisan, bi- partisan or non-
partisan.
7.2 Glen Hilton, 687 Pershing Drive, said, with regard to Kruger's Public
Hearing meeting on the 31st, it did not happen. He said the Library
spent hours trying to find the meeting for him. You also can check
with the person who signed the letter, the meeting did not take
place.
Mayor Corbett: My apologies, I was just reading that information
from the memo.
