Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and Page - 11 - <br /> Redevelopment Agency Meeting - September 3, 1996 <br /> 8.3.4 Council Member Loeffler asked for staff enforcement and a <br /> report on the trash accumulation at the Kragen Auto site, in <br /> the back and near the creek. <br /> Council Member Loeffler said he has noticed abandoned grocery <br /> carts throughout the community and asked for a staff report <br /> regarding alternatives. Council Member Glaze cited a 60 <br /> Minutes segment on a locking mechanism. <br /> Council Member Loeffler asked for a status report regarding the <br /> Arts Council. He asked for more information about the Parking <br /> Study. Wandzia Grycz, Interim City Manager, noted the issue is <br /> scheduled for the next Work Session. <br /> Council Member Loeffler commended the City Council on their <br /> decision making regarding the gun - control issue. <br /> 8.3.5 Council Member Young said she had conducted some research with <br /> the Small Business Administration and said there are 236 San <br /> Leandro businesses with over $56 million in loans. <br /> 8.3.6 Mayor Corbett commented on a potential ordinance regarding <br /> vandalism to public buildings. She noted a meeting with <br /> Heitman and Associates while she was in Chicago. She said <br /> further information would be forthcoming. <br /> 9.
