-'• Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and Page - 21 - <br /> Redevelopment Agency Meeting - November 18, 1996 <br /> 8.3.6 Council Member Lothrop reported that she had received several <br /> calls over the weekend regarding water flooding in the area. <br /> Interim City Manager Grycz noted a mechanical failure of the <br /> pumps maintained by the Alameda County Flood Control District <br /> had occurred. She noted that staff will assist residents in <br /> making contact with Alameda County to resolve any issues <br /> pertaining to damage. <br /> Council Member Lothrop commented on the good work by the <br /> members of the Planning and Engineering Departments. She said <br /> they have gone the extra mile by spending time in her district <br /> on several issues. <br /> 8.3.7 Mayor Corbett said she had the opportunity to participate in <br /> the National Mayor's Institute of Design. She said it is <br /> sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts; students and <br /> professors are matched up with Mayors to work together. She <br /> said she has some ideas for East 14th Street and will share <br /> them at a later time. <br /> 9.
