Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> None <br /> B. Reports on City Council Subcommittees <br /> None <br /> C. City Council Comments <br /> 1. Council Member Galvan commented on the Work Session and suggested a <br /> meeting or workshop with the Council, Chamber, and staff to discuss <br /> trade opportunities. <br /> 2. Council Member Young requested that staff be directed to contact <br /> Steve Kingsford to conduct the teambuilding process with the Council. <br /> City Council concurred. <br /> 3. Council Member Loeffler commented on the process and timing of the <br /> Minutes and Agendas. City Attorney Steve Meyers noted two types of <br /> Minutes -- Action and Verbatim. Council directed the Clerk to <br /> prepare Action Minutes in the future. <br /> Council Member Loeffler requested the Council present a public <br /> debriefing of the recent National League of Cities Conference. <br /> Council concurred. <br /> Council Member Loeffler requested a copy of the San Leandro Journal <br /> be included in the Council packets, since not all Council Members <br /> receive the paper. <br /> Council Member Loeffler commented on the impacts of upcoming welfare <br /> reform and suggested staff begin looking into the issue. <br /> Council Member Loeffler thanked everyone for contributing to the <br /> Bobbie Lane fund. <br /> Council Member Loeffler commented on the Disaster Preparedness bags. <br /> 4. Mayor Corbett, on behalf of the entire Council, wished the community <br /> Happy Holidays and a healthy New Year. <br /> 9. ADJOURN <br /> The City Council adjourned its meeting at 8:25 p.m. to reconvene in Closed <br /> Session in the City Council Conference Room, immediately following the <br /> Regular City Council and Redevelopment Agency Meeting. <br />
