3333.2(a)(2), the Redevelopment Plan shall be effective for thirty years, <br /> the maximum period permitted, to allow to the greatest possible extent <br /> the complete and successful implementation of the Redevelopment Plan <br /> within the Project Area. <br /> p. The Redevelopment Plan contains adequate safeguards so that the work <br /> of redevelopment will be carried out pursuant to the Redevelopment <br /> Plan. The Redevelopment Plan provides for the retention of controls <br /> and the establishment of restrictions and covenants running with the <br /> land sold or leased for private use for periods of time and under <br /> conditions specified in the Redevelopment Plan, which the City Council <br /> deems necessary to effectuate the purposes of the Community <br /> Redevelopment Law. <br /> Section 3: That due to the small number of residences within the Project <br /> Area, the City Council finds that few, if any, residents will be displaced by <br /> redevelopment activities, but if any are displaced, the City Council is satisfied that <br /> permanent housing facilities will be available within three years from the time <br /> occupants of the Project Area are displaced. Pending the development of the <br /> facilities, there will be available to the displaced occupants adequate temporary <br /> housing facilities at rents comparable to those in the community at the time of their <br /> displacement. <br /> SectionA: That no written objections to the Redevelopment Plan have been <br /> received pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33363. <br /> Section 5: That the Redevelopment Plan, including all maps and documents <br /> incorporated therein by reference, having been duly reviewed and considered, is <br /> hereby incorporated by reference in this Ordinance and made a part hereof, and, as so <br /> incorporated, is hereby designated, approved and adopted as the official <br /> "Redevelopment Plan for the City of San Leandro West San Leandro /MacArthur <br /> Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area." <br /> Section 6: That in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 33369 <br /> and the Redevelopment Plan, the City of San Leandro, acting by and through the <br /> City Council, may elect to provide, but is not committed to provide, financial <br /> assistance in support of implementation of the Redevelopment Plan. <br /> Section 7: That in order to implement and facilitate the effectuation of the <br /> Redevelopment Plan as hereby approved, the City Council hereby (a) pledges its <br /> IO <br />
