WHEREAS, in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 33355, the • <br /> City Council and the Agency held a joint public hearing (the Hearing) on June 14, <br /> 1999 concerning adoption of the Redevelopment. Plan and certification of the Final <br /> Environmental Impact Report on the Redevelopment Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the Hearing was published in a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in Alameda County in accordance with Health and Safety Code Sections <br /> 33349(a) and 33361, and a copy of such notice and affidavit of publication are on <br /> file with the City Clerk and Secretary of the Agency; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 33349(b) <br /> notice of the Hearing was sent by first lass mail to the last -known assessee of each <br /> parcel of land in the Project Area to the last known address of each addressee, as <br /> shown on the last equalized assessment roll of Alameda County on May 12, 1999; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 33349(c) <br /> notice of the Hearing was sent by first lass mail to all residents and businesses within <br /> the Project Area at least thirty days prior to the Hearing, on May 12, 1999; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 33350, each <br /> assessee whose property would be subject to acquisition by purchase or condemnation <br /> under the Redevelopment Plan was sent a statement to that effect included in the <br /> notice of the Hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Health and Safety Code Sections 33363, the <br /> City Council has evaluated the Agency report, the report and recommendation of the <br /> Project Area Committee, and all evidence and testimony for and against the adoption <br /> of the Redevelopment Plan, and no written objections to the Redevelopment Plan <br /> were received; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 33411 the <br /> Agency has prepared a feasible method or plan for relocation of any families and <br /> persons to be temporarily or permanently displaced from housing facilities in the <br /> Project Area, and relocation of any nonprofit local community institutions to be <br /> temporarily or permanently displaced from facilities actually used for institutional <br /> purposes in the Project Area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered the Redevelopment <br /> Plan and its economic feasibility, the feasibility of the Agency's relocation method or <br /> 2 <br /> A <br />
