IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98 - 05 (1055/1203) <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF TITLE II <br /> OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO <br /> BUSINESS LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS; AMENDING <br /> UNCODIFIED SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 95 -020 PERTAINING <br /> TO SUSPENSION OR INVALIDITY; AND MAKING THIS ORDINANCE AN <br /> URGENCY MEASURE TO TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY AS IT RELATES TO <br /> THE USUAL AND CUSTOMARY EXPENSES OF THE CITY. <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: <br /> Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 95 -020 is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> "If for any reason the provisions of this Ordinance are suspended or held <br /> invalid in whole or in part by a court of competent jurisdiction or should the <br /> provisions hereof become inoperative in whole or in part, then in such instance the <br /> terms, conditions and provisions of Chapter 2 of Title II of the San Leandro <br /> Municipal Code or applicable portion thereof existing immediately prior to the <br /> enactment hereof shall remain in full force and effect. The provisions of this <br /> ordinance shall be operative January I, 1996." <br /> Section 2.. Section 2- 2- 220(z) of Chapter 2, Title II of the San Leandro <br /> Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "(z) Wholesaling. Any person or firm primarily engaged in selling <br /> merchandise to retailers; to other wholesalers for resale to individual consumers; or to <br /> 1 <br />
