BAAQMD FY01/02 TFCA Funding Agreement <br />ATTACHMENT B <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />The TFCA funding application dated June 29, 2001, is incorporated herein by this reference. <br />Project Title: West San Leandro Shuttle <br />Project Description: The City of San Leandro will provide shuttle bus service during commute hours for <br />BART passengers between the San Leandro BART station and employment sites on the west side of the City <br />of San Leandro. <br />Shuttle routes will operate on 10 minute headways during morning (6:00 to 10:30 a.m.) and afternoon (3:00 to <br />7:00 p.m.) peak commute periods and will make connections with BART service at the San Leandro station. <br />Project Schedule: <br />Project Start Date: October 4, 2001 <br />Project Completion Date: October 4, 2002 <br />Submit Final Report December 15, 2002 <br />Project Goal: The goal is to reduce motor vehicle trips by providing shuttle service between employment sites <br />located on the west side of the City of San Leandro and the San Leandro BART station. During morning and <br />afternoon commute periods, thereby reducing motor vehicle emissions, trips, and miles traveled and improving <br />air quality. <br />TFCA Regional Fund Project 01 R12 Page 8 <br />
