Investigate the existing operating conditions <br /> in the building and the equipment operations. This will involve <br /> observations, testing and using the existing Novar building automation <br /> system for trend logs. The investigation will involve the duct systems, <br /> pressures, temperatures, air flows, the double duct boxes, the controls, duct <br /> leakage, the hot and chilled water systems, pumps and water flows, the <br /> equipment operation and maintenance and the user system interventions. <br /> Review these observations and tests for different weather conditions and <br /> times of day. <br /> 3.1.7 Report of findings. Prepare a report of the findings and project progress for <br /> the City of San Leandro Project Manager. <br /> 3.2 Review the Possible Approaches <br /> 3.2.1 Review minor alteration approaches. Meet with City, review approaches for <br /> performing minor alteration work using the existing systems for lower costs <br /> and less disruption. <br /> 3.2.2 Review ideal approaches. Meet with City, review approaches without <br /> limitations, for the ideal approach. <br /> 3.2.3 Review minor relocations approach. Meet with City, review approaches that <br /> are feasible without requiring relocation of the personnel, or only minor <br /> relocations of small areas at a time. <br /> 3.2.4 Cost estimates.
