IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-114 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br /> ALL DOCUMENTS IN ORDER TO FUND HALF OF THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH <br /> CROSSING GUARD SERVICES FOR THE SAN LEANDRO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> AND SAN LORENZO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FROM <br /> AUGUST 25, 2010 TO JUNE 30, 2011 <br /> WHEREAS, for the 2010 -2011 school year, commencing August 25, 2010 until June 30, <br /> 2011. the City Council desires to contribute half of the costs to fund crossing guard services for the <br /> San Leandro Unified School District and the San Lorenzo Unified School District as follows: <br /> • Three (3) schools in the San Lorenzo Unified School District, all of which are <br /> within the boundaries of the City of San Leandro, and <br /> • Eight (8) schools in the San Leandro Unified School District; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council understands and agrees that the school districts will enter into <br /> contracts with All City Management, Inc., the crossing guards service provider, and the school <br /> districts will invoice the City for reimbursement of half the costs associated with each contract <br /> respectively, which, in total shall be in an amount not to exceed $35,000 for both contracts, and <br /> WHEREAS. the 2010 -11 General Fund operating budget does not provide funds for such <br /> reimbursement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That the recitals above are true, correct and incorporated herein. <br /> That said agreements are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br /> authorized, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney. <br /> That the 2010 -11 General Fund Operating Budget (expenditures) is increased by $35,000 to <br /> provide for the reimbursement to the schools and such increase is funded from reprioritized <br /> expenditures in the "Traffic Safety Fund." <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Prola passed and adopted this 7th day of September, 2010, <br /> by the following called vote: <br />
