7/ For the period commencing July 1, 1995, Administrative Specialist - Police and Police Services Aides, <br /> Jailers and Public Safety Dispatchers who are assigned for at least thirty (30) consecutive days to a duty <br /> assignment which is required to be staffed twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, shall receive a <br /> total of One Hundred Dollars ($100) per month pay differential when so assigned. <br /> For the period commencing July 1, 1995, the Police Services Aide who performs clerical duties in the <br /> Investigation Division, the Police Services Aide who performs duties in the Warrants Section, and the <br /> Police Services Aide who performs D.A. Court Liaison and witness duties shall receive a total of Twenty= <br /> five Dollars ($25) per month pay differential when so assigned. <br /> 8/ For the period of time that a Public Safety Dispatcher or Police Services Aide is acting as a trainer, he /she <br /> shall receive an additional five percent (5 %) pay differential. <br /> For the period commencing July 1, 1995, full -time Administrative Specialist - Police and Police Services <br /> Aides, Public Safety Dispatchers, Jailers, and the Property and Evidence Technician who are required to <br /> maintain uniforms shall be allowed a uniform allowance of Four Hundred Dollars ($400) per fiscal year. <br /> Effective January 1, 2001, the uniform allowance shall increase to Four Hundred Thirty -five Dollars (3435) <br /> per fiscal year. <br /> 10/ For the period March 1, 1998 through February 28, 2002, Police Officers assigned as canine handlers shall <br /> receive a five percent (5 %) pay differential when the officer and dog are certified as a team and are <br /> functioning and on duty as a team in police patrol. The City shall provide a monthly maintenance <br /> allowance of One Hundred Dollars ($100) for dogs assigned and performing in canine program. <br /> 11/ For the period March 1, 1998 through February 29, 2000, Police Officers acting in the capacity of Field <br /> Technicians shall be paid an additional Twenty Dollars ($20) per day while performing that duty. Effective <br /> March 1, 2000, Police Officers acting in the capacity of Field Technicians shall be paid an additional Thirty <br /> Dollars (330) per day while performing that duty. <br /> 12/ For the period March 1, 1998 through February 29, 2000, Police Officers acting in the capacity of Field <br /> Training Officer (F.T.O.) shall be paid an additional Twenty Dollars (320) per day while performing that <br /> duty. Police Officers utilizing bilingual skills shall be paid an additional Twenty Dollars (320) per day <br /> while performing that duty. Effective March 1, 2000, Police Officers acting in the capacity of Field <br /> Training Officer, shall be paid an additional Thirty Dollars (330) per day while performing that duty. <br /> Effective March 1, 2000, Police Officers utilizing bilingual skills shall be paid additional Thirty Dollars <br /> (330) per day while performing that duty. <br /> 13/ For members of the San Leandro Police Officers' Association, the City will amend its PERS contract to <br /> provide the fourth level of the 1959 survivor benefit as a negotiated part of the contract commencing March <br /> 1, 1996. <br /> 14/ For members of the San Leandro Police Officers' Association, the City will amend its PERS contract to <br /> provide the 3% cCi 50 retirement option benefit. The City shall amend the contract to provide this benefit <br /> as soon as possible after ratification by the parties, subject tot he provision of the rules and regulations fo <br /> the Public Employees' Retirement System. <br /> 15 <br /> 1`-7 <br />
