IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 103 (2096) <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL APPROVING A <br /> FORM OF A GUARANTY OF A $200,000 CONSTRUCTION LOAN FROM THE <br /> LOW INCOME HOUSING FUND INC., TO THE SAN LEANDRO SHELTER <br /> FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN FOR THE BESSIE COLEMAN COURT <br /> TRANSITIONAL HOUSING LOCATED IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA <br /> RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has previously allocated HOME funds to <br /> the San Leandro Shelter for Women and Children for the Bessie Coleman Court <br /> Transitional Housing project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bessie Coleman Court will be developed by the San Leandro <br /> Shelter for Women and Children, will be located in the City of Alameda, and will be <br /> jointly funded by several sources, including the Cities of Alameda, Berkeley, Oakland <br /> and San Leandro, as well as federal and private sources; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Low Income Housing Fund will provide construction funding <br /> and permanent financing for the project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Low Income Housing Fund has requested additional security <br /> for the loan to the San Leandro Shelter for Women and Children; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to guarantee the Low Income Housing Fund loan <br /> with a portion of the City's HOME fund allocation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City and the Low Income Housing Fund have negotiated a <br /> form of a guaranty that will be executed when the Loan Agreement between the Low <br /> Income Housing Fund and the San Leandro Shelter for Women and Children is <br /> completed. <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />
