• <br /> SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br /> TITLE 10 HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> Chapter5 POLICY GOVERNING EMPLOYEE USE OF <br /> THE INTERNET <br /> • Users must immediately disengage from sites that contain offensive or inappropriate <br /> material including but not limited to: <br /> - Sexually suggestive or explicit content and images <br /> - Racially motivated hate or anti - semitic statements <br /> - Gambling or games of chance <br /> Exceptions to this must be expressly given by the City Manager or his or her designee. <br /> Security Regulations <br /> • Users shall not share their passwords or otherwise breach the security of their Internet <br /> accounts. <br /> • Users shall not disable any anti -virus software installed by Information Services, nor <br /> download any files which trigger a warning from the anti -virus software. <br /> • To protect the integrity of the computer systems, users shall not run or install software <br /> obtained over the Internet without clearance from Information Services. <br /> • Users shall access the Internet only through official City accounts; the use of personal <br /> Internet <br /> • accounts from City equipment is strictly prohibited. <br /> • Users shall not send, post or provide access to any confidential City materials or <br /> inforniation. <br /> The City has no control or responsibility for content on an external server not under the control <br /> of the City of San Leandro. <br /> 09 -05 -2000 2 <br />
