Federal, State and Local key contacts will be solicited in coordination with the <br /> City's current efforts to lobby on the City's behalf, and to seek non - competitive <br /> funds for selected projects. <br /> I1. GRANT FOCUS GROUP <br /> The Grant Focus Group (GFG) assists the Grant Project in the application for new grant <br /> funds. At a minimum, the GFG consists of representatives from each department in the <br /> City. Each of these City staff members is authorized to act on the department's behalf, <br /> and will coordinate the key staff person for their department in providing data and <br /> reviewing and making decisions regarding the content of any grant application. <br /> I11. GRANTS PROGRAM MANAGER <br /> • DJT Consulting Group will coordinate grants activities through the City's Grants Program <br /> Manager, currently the Emergency Services Manager, who will serve as a liaison <br /> between DJT, the City Manager's Office, and the Grants Focus Group. Direct contact <br /> with Department staff will be coordinated by DJT directly with notification to the Grants <br /> Program Manager. <br /> IV. GRANT APPLICATION APPROVAL <br /> All grant applications submitted by DJT Consulting Group require the approval of the <br /> City Manager's Office in order to ensure coordination of grant applications with City <br /> priorities and effective use of resources as determined by the City. with DJT's <br /> recommendations. <br /> V. TIMELINESS <br /> D11' Consulting Group and the City are jointly responsible for submitting information, <br /> research. documentation, and other necessary information for completing grant <br /> applications in a timely basis.
