ATTACHMENT 13 <br /> • <br /> San Leandro Collaborative (SLC) <br /> Proposed Objective 2000 -2001 <br /> Executive Committee Voting Members: Alameda County Supervisor Wilma Chan, San Leandro <br /> City Council Member Garry Loeffler, San Lorenzo Unified School District Board Member Betty <br /> Moose, San Leandro Unilied School District I3oard (Member Linda Perry, and San Leandro <br /> Mayor Shelia Young. <br /> Goal: A deliverable project, as suggested by the Youth Development Master Plan that visibly <br /> contributes to creating a more family- friendly community. <br /> Position: Project Manager <br /> Reports to: SLC Executive Committee (or designated representatives) through City Manager <br /> General Responsibilities: <br /> 1. Begin implementation of the Youth Development Master Plan. <br /> 2. Identify and serve as a resource in fundraising activities and coordinate grant writing for <br /> the SLC. <br /> 3. Organize, publicize, and facilitate the regular SLC Meetings. <br /> 4. Plan and oversee the implementation of the City Connection Project (Attachment D). <br /> Office: <br /> 1. Location to be determined by the City Manager. <br /> 2. Telephone, fax machine, postage, and computer provided in -kind by the City of San <br /> Leandro. <br /> Note: The success of the project hinges on considering the insights of all SLC partners in its <br /> design, including parents, community -based organizations, the School Districts, the business <br /> community, local government, and especially young people. Each stakeholder has a vital role to <br /> serve in the project's implementation and ongoing operation.
