SCOPE OF WORK <br /> I. Expansion Alternatives Development <br /> • Review existing plans, repairs and previous studies <br /> • Determine low, average and high per stall cost for the Bay Area <br /> • Prepare schematic design of circulation and functional layout plan for expansion <br /> alternatives <br /> • Determine the number of additional floors that can be added to the structure with nominal <br /> increase in footing requirements or minimum per stall cost for the Bay Area. <br /> • Determine the number of additional floors that can be added to the structure for the <br /> average and high per stall cost for the Bay Area. <br /> • Determine structural and foundation improvements required for additional floors. This is <br /> to include determination of structure loads, global seismic forces, development of the <br /> lateral force resisting system and foundation capacity. <br /> 2. Architectural Alternatives Development <br /> • Project Meeting to determine goals, garage features, framework, materials, finishes and <br /> desires of City Staff and other garage stakeholders <br /> • Prepare conceptual level cost estimates of desired garage features <br /> • Provide matrix of conceptual cost versus alternatives <br /> • Phone conference with City Staff to review preliminary figures for photo study of <br /> adjacent existing buildings, proposed area developments and Bay Area parking structures <br /> and matrix of conceptual cost versus alternatives <br /> • Conceptual Design Meeting with Facilities Committee to review photo study, conceptual <br /> level cost estimates and receive comments and directions from City Council members <br /> • Prepare conceptual level architectural design improvements and provide Elevation Study <br /> of three alternatives <br /> • Schematic Design Meeting with Facilities Committee to review developed concepts and <br /> to receive comments for refinements <br /> Exhibit A <br /> Page 2of4 <br /> 6/12195 EswJi I lo/Cal Ian Parking Garage <br />
