Mr. Sims introduced Senior Planner <br />Kathleen Livermore. <br /> <br />local laws are silent with regard to medical <br />marijuana establishments. The interim urgency ordinance being proposed would allow <br />the City time to review and propose new zoning regulations for medical marijuana uses. <br /> <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> <br />There being no comments from the public, and without objection, the Public Hearing <br />was closed. <br /> <br /> Ordinance No. 2010-012 <br />, an Interim Urgency Ordinance of the City of San <br />Leandro Prohibiting Consideration and Approval of Use Permits, Variances, <br />Building Permits, Start of New Construction, or Other Entitlements for Any <br />Establishment or Operation of Medical Marijuana Dispensaries, Marijuana <br />Cultivation Facilities, or Other Land Uses that Could Be Proposed Should Prop <br />19 Be Approved by Voters this November for a Forty-Five Day Period (issues a <br />temporary moratorium to allow staff to review and propose new zoning <br />regulations for the subject medical marijuana uses). <br /> <br /> Passed to print and adopted <br /> <br />M/S/C Stephens and Starosciak.
