Mayor Santos asked <br /> what period staff was looking at for the project. Austine stated that the project is <br /> expected to last 18 to 24 months. Councilmember Souza asked what businesses staff <br /> would be meeting with. Austine explained that Business Development staff would be <br /> handling that aspect. Councilmember Souza asked is there would be a construction <br /> impact meeting with the businesses affected by the project. Uche Udemezue explained <br /> that there would be a meeting with such businesses as Wells Fargo, as their ATMs and <br /> parking for patrons will be affected, as well as Santos Robinson Mortuary and other <br /> impacted businesses. Councilmember Souza asked what the impact would be to East 14 <br /> Street. Ken Joseph explained that the project is phased mostly off Callan Street, but <br /> when work begins in the plaza there may be minimal impact. <br /> Upcoming Projects <br /> o East 14 Street Restriping <br /> • Staff will be going back to the public based on City Council direction <br /> • Contractor is holding the bid price until Spring 2011 <br />
