Willis, Chief of PolicOLV <br /> SUBJECT PROJECT/PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> RESOLUTION OFFERING A SI0,000 REWARD FOR THE APPREHENSION OF THE <br /> INDIVIDUAL(S) INVOLVED IN THE DOUBLE HOMICIDE AT MONARCH BAY GOLF <br /> COURSE <br /> SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION <br /> 11 is recommended that the City Council approve the resolution authorizing a reward of $10,000 <br /> for information leading to the apprehension of individual(s) involved in the double homicide at <br /> Monarch Bay Golf Course. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Analvsis <br /> On October 9' 2010, a double homicide occurred at the Wedges Grill at Monarch Bay Golf <br /> Course. Rewards have been offered in the past and have proven successful. This senseless act <br /> of violence that killed two young adults and wounded two others cannot be tolerated in a <br /> civilized society.
