MINUTES Page 2 <br /> City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting— November 1, 2010 <br /> calls per month go unanswered. Last fiscal year, seven percent, or 5,300, of the calls received <br /> were from San Leandro. Ms. Bernstein provided examples of the types of calls made to 2 -1- <br /> 1, she pointed out that 2 -1 -1 will become the public communications system in the event of a <br /> disaster. <br /> In the past, the City of San Leandro contributed $25,000 annually to help support 2 -1 -1. Ms. <br /> Bernstein requested that when the City reviews its mid -year budget, the Council consider <br /> restoring some funding, if available, to the 2 -1 -1 program. She also requested assistance in <br /> applying for grants for targeted funding, and identifying local businesses that might want to <br /> support a large -scale project like 2 -1 -1. <br /> 3. PUBLIC HEARINGS —CITY COUNCIL <br /> Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br /> Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br /> to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br /> and addresses obtained. <br /> None. <br /> 4. PUBLIC HEARINGS —JOINT CITY COUNCIL/ REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> None. <br /> 5.
