ORDINANCES: PUBLICATION AND POSTING <br /> The title of each ordinance passed to print shall be published once and the City Clerk <br /> shall post a complete copy thereof on the City Council Chamber bulletin board For five <br /> (5) days prior to adoption. The title of each ordinance adopted pursuant to San Leandro <br /> Municipal Code, Section 1 -1 -345, shall be published once and the City Clerk shall post a <br /> complete copy thereof on the City Council Chamber bulletin board for five days <br /> following adoption. <br /> (San Leandro Municipal Code, Section 1 -1 -325) <br /> ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS: AUTHENTICATION <br /> The City Clerk shall authenticate by signature all ordinances and resolutions adopted by <br /> the Council. (San Leandro Municipal Code, Section 1 -1 -320) <br /> ORDINANCES: MAINTENANCE OF BY CITY CLERK <br /> A true and correct copy of all ordinances shall be kept and certified by the City Clerk, <br /> such record copy, with such certificate, or the original ordinance, shall be prima facie <br /> evidence of the contents of the ordinance and of the due passage and publication of the <br /> same, and shall be admissible as such in any court or proceeding. Such records shall not <br /> be filed in any case, but shall be returned to the custody of the City Clerk. Nothing <br /> herein contained shall be construed to prevent the proof of the passage and publication of <br /> an ordinance in the usual way. <br /> COMPREHENSIVE CODES <br /> The Council may adopt any comprehensive code of technical regulations by reference <br /> thereto in an adopting ordinance. <br /> Any ordinance may be compiled into a comprehensive code which the Council may <br /> adopt by reference thereto in an adopting ordinance. <br /> Comprehensive codes of regulations or of ordinances adopted by reference need not be <br /> published, provided that copies thereof shall be available at the office of the City Clerk <br /> for use or purchase by the public. <br /> Repeal or amendment of codified ordinances, or additions to a comprehensive code, shall <br /> be accomplished by reference to numerical designations assigned thereto for the purpose <br /> of arrangement and indexing of the comprehensive code. <br /> TRAFFIC CODE <br /> The City Clerk shall compile and maintain a Traffic Code, in duplicate, which shall <br /> contain, in logical format and order, all ordinances, resolutions and regulations adopted <br /> XI - 3 <br />
