IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -151 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2010 COUNCILMEMBERS HANDBOOK <br /> WHEREAS, a City Council Members' Handbook was created in 1998 to commit to writing <br /> the basic standards of Council operations, and to make this information readily available to all, not <br /> just through "word of mouth" or institutional memory; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Councilmembers Handbook was last updated in 2002, and requires <br /> updating to reflect changes in the law, policies, procedures and practices; and <br /> WHEREAS, the revised 2010 Councilmembers Handbook, a copy of which is attached, has <br /> been presented to this Council. <br /> The Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> The City Manager has reconunended its approval. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE that the <br /> 2010 Councilmembers Handbook is hereby approved. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 20th day of December, <br /> 2010, by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed.
