SECTION IV AGENDA ORDER OF BUSINESS The following shall constitute the order of business to be followed in conducting regular meetings of the Council: Closed Sessions Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call Announcements Presentations /Recognitions Public Hearings Joint Public Hearings Public Comments (limited to 3 minutes) City Managers /City Attomev Report and Comments • Amendment of Consent Calendar t; Consent Calendar Items Removed from Consent Calendar New Business (Public Comment allowed at 3 minutes per speaker.) Action Items City Council CommentsReports and Announcements Adjourn The order of business may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Mayor and agreed to by a majority of the Council. The printed agenda for each regular meeting shall include the following statement: "The City Council welcomes your participation at meetings. The Agenda provides several opportunities for public participation., - but the Council is -prohibited -by- State -law fiat- 4iseussing --ite ns- not-lktc o n- Fire- 7-tgcuda. The ,4laror will inquire if an).one wishes to address the City Council during the portion of the Agenda entitled "Public Comments." The public is invited to make comments related to Consent Calendar and ire not lister/ an -the- agenda at this time. Comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker. In addition, the public is invited to address the City Council r- usiness items at the time the item is being head and before the Council takes action. if you wish to conrnrernt on a New -Business item, please fill out a speaker card and present it to the City Clerk prior to or as the item is being announced. Public Continents: The public is invited to make comments on items that are not listed on the Agenda at this time.
