COMMISSION PROFILE <br /> Title of Commission: PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Description of Board Duties: <br /> The Commission shall: <br /> (a) hear and recommend to the Council on proposals to adopt, amend or <br /> repeal a general plan for the physical development of the City; <br /> (b) exercise such functions with respect to land subdivisions, planning, <br /> zoning and future right -of -way lines as are prescribed in Chapters 3, <br /> 13 and 16 of Title VII of the San Leandro Municipal Code; <br /> (c) possess the powers and perform the duties prescribed by statute. <br /> MEMBERSHIP: <br /> Seven (7) Members (one member from each Council District/one at- large) <br /> Four (4) Year Term <br /> MEETING SCHEDULE: <br /> Meets seeeinfl—aftd—feitalithird Thursdays; 7300 p.m., Civic CenterCity Hall, <br /> Council Chambers <br /> XVI - Il <br />
