CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:09 p.m. <br /> A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> Vice Mayor Reed led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> B. Roll Call <br /> PRESENT: Members Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Soma, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> C. Announcements <br /> None. <br /> 2. PRESENTATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS <br /> A. Proclamation Declaring January 2011 as "National Blood Donor Month" in San <br /> Leandro. <br /> Councilmember Gregory, who is also Senior Account Manager for American Red Cross <br /> Blood Services, accepted the "National Blood Donor Month" proclamation presented by <br /> Mayor Cassidy. Councilmember Gregory announced that there is a blood drive at the <br /> Marina Community Center this Friday. <br /> B. Presentation of Police Chiefs Commendations to Malcolm Mason and Dino Rinetti for <br /> Their Assistance in Apprehending an Assault Suspect. <br /> Mr. Mason and Mr. Rinetti were presented with Police Chief's Certificates of <br /> Commendation presented by Police Chief Jan Willis. <br /> 3. PUBLIC HEARINGS —CITY COUNCIL <br /> Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br /> Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br /> to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br /> and addresses obtained. <br />
