Matter of Establishing an Underground Utility District on Eden Road from Doolittle <br /> Drive to Davis Street. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City Manager <br /> Hollister introduced Engineering and Transportation Director Uche Udemezue. Mr. <br /> Udemezue gave an overview of the matter, and introduced Senior Engineer Nick Thorn. <br /> Mr. Thom gave a PowerPoint presentation, providing additional information on the <br /> proposed underground utility district for Eden Road. <br /> Staff responded to questions from the Council. <br /> The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> Lou Filipovich, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting that <br /> the decision to develop Eden Road should have been made long ago. <br /> There being no further comments from the public, and without objection, the Public <br /> Hearing was closed. <br /> • Resolution No. 2011 -001, Resolution Establishing an Underground Utility <br /> District on Eden Road from Doolittle Drive to Davis Street (requires the removal <br /> of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures, and the underground <br /> installation of wires and facilities for utilities in the subject area). <br /> M /S /C Prola and Souza. The public is invited to make comments on items of public interest NOT <br /> listed on the Agenda. <br /> Lou Filipovich, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council regarding the recent <br /> election, which he believed was conducted using a flawed process. <br />
