AGENCY LOAN STATUS
<br />The Agency has seven loans in excess of $50,000 that are active as of June 30, 2010.
<br />A summary of these loans, indicating the original loan amount, balance as of June 30,
<br />2010, type of loan and status, is provided in the following table.
<br />In 2008 -09, the Redevelopment Agency authorized a loan of up to $9.1 million to
<br />BRIDGE Housing Corporation for the proposed 100 -unit affordable rental development
<br />known as the The Alameda at San Leandro Crossings. Execution of the loan has been
<br />delayed but is expected in the 2010 -11 fiscal year.

<br />PROPERTY OWNED AND ADQUIRED BY THE AGENCY
<br />The Agency owns several properties for long term use which are used for parking lots,
<br />transit facilities, landscaped areas and pedestrian malls that serve the Downtown area.
<br />One property, Casa Verde at 2398 East 14 Street, is owned by the Agency and is has
<br />been redeveloped into a 68 -unit low /moderate income apartment project, operated and
<br />managed by Mercy Housing under a long -term lease agreement.
<br />In 2008 -09, the Redevelopment Agency executed a Lease with Option to Purchase
<br />agreement with the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce that may ultimately result in
<br />the acquisition of 262 Davis Street. If acquired, that parcel would be held for mixed -use
<br />development as part of the Town Hall Square project.
<br />As of June 30, 2010, the Agency owned five properties designated for future
<br />redevelopment.
