IN TFIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 - <br /> RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE BAY AREA RAPID TRANSIT <br /> (BART) - DOWNTOWN PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> • <br /> Recitals <br /> WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Transportation Commission awarded a Transportation for <br /> Livable Communities (TLC) grant to the City of San Leandro. <br /> WHEREAS, The City Manager has recommended that the said funds be used to fund the <br /> Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) - Downtown Pedestrian Improvement project. <br /> WHEREAS the City of San Leandro understands that the TLC funding is fixed at the <br /> programmed amount and any increase in project costs cannot be expected to be funded with <br /> additional TLC funds. <br /> NOV.
