Bay Trail Slough Bridge — Pon Agreement 2 April 4, 2011 <br /> Current City Council Policy <br /> Coordinate with EBRPD to pursue funding and completion of the Bay Trail project (Resolution <br /> No. 2003 -250). <br /> Previous City Council Action(s) <br /> • On March 19, 2007, by Resolution No. 2007 -036, the City Council approved a Right of <br /> Entry and Indemnity Agreement between the City of San Leandro and the Port of Oakland <br /> related to the subject project <br /> • On April 5, 2010, by Resolution No. 2010 -039, the City Council approved naming the Bay <br /> Trail Bridge the 'Bill Lockyer Bay Trail Bridge' <br /> • On July 6, 2010, by Resolution No. 2010 -089, the City Council accepted the work for the <br /> Bay Trail Slough Bridge <br /> Applicable General Plan Policy <br /> • Goal 14 Bicycle and Pedestrian Circulation: Promote and accommodate alternative, <br /> environmentally - friendly methods of transportation, such as walking and bicycling <br /> • Policy 14.01 -- Citywide Bikeway System: Develop and maintain a citywide bikeway system <br /> that effectively serves residential areas, employment centers, schools, parks, and multi -modal <br /> terminals <br /> • Action 14.01B--Capital Improvement Scheduling: Maintain a schedule of capital <br /> improvement priorities in the City's Bikeway Plan (Plan), and update this schedule as <br /> projects are completed and additional funds become available.
