The purpose of these surveys was to assess current habitat conditions and evaluate <br /> the site's potential to support special- status plant and/or animal species. Prior to conducting field <br /> work. LSA searched the California Natural Diversity Database (CNDDB) (CDFG 2009) for records <br /> of special- status species occurrences in the site vicinity (i.e..
