U U U • <br /> g) Conflict with adopted polices, plans, or programs supporting ❑ 0 U • <br /> alternative transportation (e.g., bus turnouts, bicycle racks)? <br /> Affected Environment: <br /> The City of San Leandro roadway system consists of freeways, arterials, collectors, and local streets. <br /> Regional access is provided to the project site by Interstate 880, a major north -south freeway; and <br /> Interstate 580, a major east -west freeway. Local access to the project site is provided by Davis <br /> Street/Estudillo Avenue, which connects to Preda Street. The project site is located adjacent to Alder <br /> Creek Circle. near Preda Street. <br /> Transit is provided in the City of San Leandro by BART and AC Transit. The San Leandro BART <br /> station is located approximately % mile southeast of the project site. An AC Transit bus stop is <br /> located along bus line 55 near the intersection of Davis Street and Preda Street. Amtrak also passes <br /> through San Leandro, but the closest station is in the City of Oakland. <br /> The City of San Leandro also has a network of bicycle and pedestrian facilities. Bicycle facilities in <br /> the vicinity of the project site include existing Class II Bicycle lanes along the majority of Davis <br /> Street/Estudillo Avenue.
