LEA ASSOCIATES. INC. CEQA INITIAL STUDY /MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> MARCH 2011 PREDA STREET PIPE BRIDGES UPGRADE <br /> SAN LEANDRO. CALIFORNIA <br /> Less Than Significant Impact. No additional wastewater would be generated by the proposed <br /> project. Therefore, the proposed project would not exceed any wastewater treatment requirements <br /> of the Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> b) Require or result in the construction of new water or wastewater treatment facilities or expansion <br /> of existing facilities, the construction of which could cause significant environmental effects? <br /> No Impact. The proposed pipe bridges project would upgrade an existing sanitary sewer facility <br /> and does not require water or wastewater treatment. Therefore, the proposed project would not <br /> require or result in the construction of new wastewater treatment facilities or expansion of <br /> existing facilities. <br /> c) Require or result in the construction of new storm water drainage facilities or expansion of <br /> existing facilities, the construction of which could cause significant environmental effects? <br /> No Impact. Implementation of the proposed project would not result in an increase in impervious <br /> surface. Therefore, the proposed project would not cause an increase in storm water runoff that <br /> would lead to the expansion of existing storm water facilities. No additional drainage facilities <br /> would be required. <br /> d) Have sufficient water supplies available to serve the project from existing entitlements and <br /> resources, or are new or expanded entitlements needed? <br /> No Impact. The proposed project would not require water supplies. <br /> e) Result in a determination by the wastewater treatment provider which serves or may serve the <br /> project that it has adequate capacity to serve the project's projected demand in addition to the <br /> provider's existing commitments? <br /> Less Than Significant Impact. See XVI(a) above. <br /> Ji Be served by a landfill with sufficient permitted capacity to accommodate the project's solid <br /> waste disposal needs? <br /> Less Than Significant Impact. Operation of the proposed project would not generate solid <br /> waste. Construction of the proposed project would generate construction waste. However, the <br /> amount of construction waste would not be substantial and would not result in a substantial <br /> reduction in the capacity of a landfill. <br /> g) Comply with federal, Stare, and local statutes and regulations related to solid waste? <br /> No Impact.
