IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -094 <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO STATE ROOFING <br /> SYSTEMS, INC. FOR THE ROOF REPLACEMENT AND ACCESSORIES (YEAR 3) <br /> PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 09- 687 -18 -104 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on May 5, 2011 publicly open, examine and declare all <br /> sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2011 -051 of the Council <br /> of said City adopted on February 22, 2011, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br /> description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br /> therefore, to wit: State Roofing Systems, Inc. at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office <br /> of the City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Reed and passed and adopted this 16th day of May, 2011, <br /> by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: iMOt AA (IAA <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
