IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -095 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR THE EAST 14 STREET (SR 185) WEST <br /> BROADMOOR BOULEVARD TO HAYS STREET STRIPING AND PEDESTRIAN <br /> IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 09- 120 -38 -244. <br /> Pursuant to a contract between the City and Chrisp Company, dated January 18, 2011, by <br /> Resolution No. 2011 -009, Chrisp Company has completed the East 14 Street (SR 185) West <br /> Broadmoor Boulevard to Hays Street Striping and Pedestrian Improvements Project. <br /> Said work has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and to the <br /> satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, who therefore recommends that said <br /> work be accepted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That the work hereinbefore described is hereby accepted. <br /> 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion on said <br /> project. <br /> 3. That the bonds heretofore given for performance and payment of said conditions <br /> are hereby discharged and exonerated from further liability. <br /> 4. That upon completion of the one -year Maintenance Period established pursuant to <br /> said contract, and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation <br /> Director, the City Manager is hereby authorized to release the bond heretofore <br /> given for maintenance of the work hereinbefore described. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Reed and passed and adopted this 16th day of May, 2011, <br /> by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: V vt LCl/lA <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
